You're A Great Photographer Award (Second Time!)

A big thank you to Ginny and June from Small Town American Girlz for nominating me for my second "You're a Great Photographer" award!
Here are the rules:

1. Nominate 3-7 blogs for this award and make a link to the blog.

2. If you are nominated, give 1 of your photography tips and answer the questions given.

3. Go comment on a post of the person you nominated letting them know they were nominated.

4. Copy the picture above on your post.

5. Link your post back to the original post.

6. Add the picture to your tool bar or page.

7. Copy these rules onto your post.

8. Have fun!

My photography tip:
Use natural lighting, but don't take pictures right in the sun. Find a place where it is still bright, but not direct.

Here are their questions for me:
1. What is your favorite book?
I really like the Narnia Series!
2. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
I like Moose Tracks!
3. What profession would you like to pursue when you are older?
I want to be a science teacher.
4. Does your handwriting look better in pencil or marker?
Pencil.
5. What does the fox say?
Well, it's bark actually sounds like a high pitched dog bark.
6. Swimming or sledding?
Sledding.
7. If a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound?
People say it doesn't, but how do they know if they haven't been around to hear if it does or not.
8. Why did you start your blog?
It's hard to think why. I guess I always admired other people's blogs and decided I wanted to do that too. Other people inspired me.

I nominate:
AG Doll Days
Dolls World
Gumnut Street Dolls

I ask you the same questions Ginny and June asked me.

Craft: AG Beforever Memory Game

Do you like the game memory? It's the one where the cards all have pictures on them and you flip them over and try to find the matching card. I've made a doll sized version of memory featuring the Beforever dolls from American Girl.
Let's begin!

What you need for this project:
  •  Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Colored card stock paper
  • Beforever Memory Printable (download it here)

To start, cut out a piece along the lines. Then glue it to the card stock leaving a thin border of color.
Just cut it out and you're done! Do this with each piece.
Now just flip your pieces over and start playing!

Happy Belated St. Patrick's Day!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day, everyone! I meant to get this up yesterday, but was a little busy. I wanted to show you Saige's St. Patty's day outfit.

Isn't it cute? My sister upcycled a baby dress into a dress for my dolls. Saige's hat is from Dollar Tree.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Review: American Girl Western Plaid Outfit

Recently I bought the Western Plaid outfit from American Girl. Here's a review I did on it for you. Enjoy!
What it comes with:
  • Dress
  • Belt
  • Boots
I really like this set. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it in the catalog. It retails for $30. Let's take a closer look at each item.
Here's the dress. The material isn't as soft as I thought it would be. The gemstone buttons add a nice sparkle to the dress. The skirt is rather short, though.
Here is the belt. I like the little designs on the belt.
Last but not least, the boots. The ribbons that go around them match the dress, but could be hard to match with other things.

I also like this set because it can be very versatile. I'll show you what I mean.
Look familiar? I just slipped the skirt of the dress under a pair of jeans so Saige can have a flannel shirt to go riding in.

I recommend this outfit. I thought it was a good buy.
